Still scrolling? Here’s more about me!
While I have spent many years in corporate land, that siren call of health and wellness just kept getting louder…
During the last few years I had to cave and went back to being a true student, studying yoga and deepening my practice now as a certified yoga teacher.
But of course… and this might sound weird… the feet just kept coming back to me. Through my own experience of my practices, I began to explore how powerful Reflexology, or using the pressure points in the feet to impact the whole system, body and mind, can truly be.
So back to student mode yet again, only this time to Reflexology school!
I completed my Reflexology program in 2024 from Aliphatic Ambrosia School of Natural Therapies now with over 150 hours of clinical practice as a reflexologist.
And I love it. Being present for those moments of discovery when people notice they can own their wellness.
Your turn to try it!
And what’s working with me like?
Well we always start with figuring out what exactly it is we are trying to change.
Whether that’s pain directly related to the all powerful foot, such as plantar fasciitis, swollen ankles or edema, or a more general pain such as a dysregulated nervous system.
It’s my experience that nothing promotes overall wellbeing quite like grounding and grounding happens when we focus on our feet and how they both stabilize and move us. I also spent a lot of time barefoot in the fields as a child, lol.
And frankly, my favourite sessions? When you FINALLY get a nervous system so regulated you go straight to sleep ;)
And some other trivia for you:
I was invited to my local roller derby team’s fresh meat bootcamp my first time on roller skates, but decided at the time that co-ed hockey was tough enough.
I grow too many chocolate cherry tomato plants every summer . . . no matter how hard I try to scale back.
And some education & training highlights…
Certified Foot Reflexology Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher (200 hour),
Registered Member of Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC)
And additional training in Chair Yoga and Indian Head Massage
